Stories Series

This year, our church has been centered around the word Miracle, taking time to recognize and share the ways God is actively working in people’s lives.

Toward the end of 2025, I connected with my lead pastor, Eddie, about wanting to help capture and share some of these stories. I had one in mind at the time, Mandie’s, because of the way God has worked so clearly in her life. From there, it quickly grew into an opportunity to help tell others’ stories as well.

Each of these videos is a glimpse into real lives, real struggles, and the ways God has shown up in the middle of them. I’ve been grateful to play a small part in helping these stories be told.

Story: Chad Robinson

Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of watching my friend Chad live out one of the most incredible stories of redemption I’ve ever witnessed.

His testimony begins with addiction and the choices that ultimately led him to prison. But that’s not where his story ended. I’ve watched God faithfully restore so much of his life: relationships, purpose, provision, family, peace, It’s been incredible to see Chad not only tell his testimony, but to genuinely live it every single day.

One verse has become especially meaningful in his journey: “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…” — Joel 2:25

When I hear Chad talk about God’s restoration, I can’t help but think of that promise. His life is a reminder that God doesn’t simply forgive, He restores. Not instantly or without hardship, but faithfully over time.

Producing this video was especially meaningful to me because this isn’t just someone I interviewed. He’s a close friend, and I’ve had the unique privilege of watching God write this chapter of his life in real time. Seeing the man, husband, father, and follower of Christ he has become has been one of the greatest encouragements to my own faith.

I hope Chad’s story encourages you as much as it has encouraged me. No matter what your past looks like, God’s grace is greater, and your story isn’t over.

Story: Corey and Addie

Corey and Addie share their story of walking through cancer, loss, and the faith that carried them through it. After Corey was diagnosed with a brain tumor, their family faced the difficult road of treatment, only to experience another heartbreaking loss along the way with the passing of their unborn daughter, Brooklyn.

Hearing their story was deeply meaningful for me. Parts of their journey hit close to home, especially the way they recognized God’s presence in small but significant ways throughout such a difficult season. It was an honor to spend time with them, to listen, and to help capture what God has done in their lives.

This is a story of faith, perseverance, and the quiet ways God shows up even in the hardest moments.

Story: Mandie Jones

This video captures Mandie Jones sharing her testimony of addiction, loss, and restoration. After years marked by struggle and time away from her family, Mandie speaks honestly about how God met her in the midst of her addiction and led her back to Christ.

I first heard Mandie’s sobriety journey at her one-year sobriety celebration, and I knew it was a story I wanted to help share. It was a privilege to capture her words and be a small part of telling what God has done in her life. This is a story of grace, redemption, and the hope found in surrender.
